Post subject: 07 CRV Stress Fracture On Windscreen

I am now aware of 2 customers who have purchased new CRV vehicles and both have failed with stress fractures on the windscreens within 24 hours of taking ownership.
The disappointing situation is that Honda UK do not have any service stock to fix the problem and parts are having to be shipped from EMEA to resolve the situation. This is my oppinion is unacceptable that a manufacturer can release a new product into the market place without having a suitable backup of service parts. If i was the logistics manager for Honda in the UK I would somewhat embarrased.

Does anyone else have this situation ?? .

The one case that I am involved in has ended up with Hoda customer care being somewhat useless and not providing any form of solution except that we have to wait 10 days for the parts. However the dealer involved has been very supportive but lacks manufacturing support from Honda.
