Hello. I am new to the group. I need some help with my 02 Jetta. Does
anyone know how to remove the stearing wheel (air bag equiped) so I
can replace the t-signal/high beam switch? I have removed stearing
wheels before, but not with an air bag.

Thanks, Jay

It can be tricky if you've never done it before. I personally use a
medium length screwdriver that I've bent to shape in order to release
the airbag. You have to pull the metal locking tabs inwards.

And make 100% sure the battery is disconnected for at least 20 minutes
before starting this task!
