I've purchased this 02 Neon from a used car dealer which was a mistake unfortunately, But anyway overheating was not a problem until I got my air condition fixed.
1: The car usually only over heats when I have been driving for awhile or pushing the car hard and i then hit traffic and slow down for no more then 10 minutes. It starts to Tremble and if it continues to overheat it willl boil out all the coolant.
2. I can usually get the Temp to go back down if I drive slower and don't hit any more traffic. Since traffic is what seems to due me in for the overheating. It also seems to go up allot when the car is idling after driving, Thus the problem with traffic,
3. I've had it to at least 2 Mechanics that I trust and 2 that I don't. They all say the same thing, Either A- Can't get it to overheat or B- They cant find anything wrong with it .
Ive checked the fans, Ive had all the fluids flushed/ new fluids so I don't think any of those are whats causing the issue.
Any advice / ideas would be greatly appreciated.
