At least Honda/Acura seems to be stepping up the plate on these problems
even though they are after the original warranty expired. When GM, Ford
and Chrysler have gone through periods of less than great transmission
reliability they almost always dumped the cost on the customer.

2000 3.2 TL Transmission Worry - My 2000 TL has 51,000 miles on it. The maintenance is up to date, the most recent being transmission fluid change that I had done at the dealer. I also responded to the recall which added a jet tube to the transmission to lubricate 2nd gear. Pressing....
