Post subject: 01 Sentra SE-- Service Engine Light

I recently had a new starter installed in my Sentra and now my Servive
Engine LIght is on. Any Ideas? It runs fine and I had the battery
replaced just prior to the starter and the serviced tech performed a
Charging System check and eveything was fine.

Just take it by auto zone and have them scan it for codes, it doesnt cost
anything. Depending on the code that pops up, depending on severity, have
it reset and drive around for a while and see if it comes back on. If you
need help with the codes I have a complete list, just let us know what turns
up.

Thanks for the help. I searched around this Group and found an entry
about the gas cap. I tightened the capo and within 30 minutes th light
went off. Thanks again for the help.
